Instagram is finally listening to the people. Six years ago, Instagram switched from chronological feeds to an algorithm, which has made it pretty annoying to many people as they scroll. The social media company is now giving users the option to control what's in their feed.
Now you have two choices when it comes to the order of your feed: Use the default algorithm that suggests posts, or you can opt to use a chronological feed to see posts from every account you follow. You can also choose to add accounts to your favorites list, which will push them to the top of your chronological feed.

- Tap Following from the drop-down.
Unfortunately, the feed defaults to Home when you close and reopen the Instagram app, so you'll need to do this every time you want to see a chronological feed.
