Six days before Google's Made by Google event, a sweeping Google Pixel Watch 5 leak has surfaced marketing images, a near-complete spec sheet, and regional pricing. Three separate leaks, three different chip names. Without benchmarks or power figures to compare, there's no basis yet to say whether an "Accelerated" variant, if it exists, changes real-world speed or battery draw. That's a question for launch day, not for the leaks currently circulating.
Gemini, health tracking, and the fine print
The watch is expected to ship running Wear OS 7 with Gemini Intelligence built in, described in leaked marketing as a "personal, proactive assistant" that surfaces things like Google Wallet boarding passes and suggests context-aware text replies (9to5Google, yesterday; GSMArena, yesterday). Both agree retail availability lands around August 20.
None of these figures are official yet. Google's own event next week is the only source that can settle the discrepancy.
What the August 12 event needs to resolve
The leaks agree on the broad shape of the watch: more storage, slightly more RAM, a marginally bigger battery, a new band, and a software push built around Gemini and sleep tracking. What they don't agree on is the processor, and that's the detail most likely to matter for anyone deciding whether the watch actually feels faster than its predecessor.
A handful of questions should get answered once Google takes the stage:
- Whether the "Accelerated" chip label, if real, produces any measurable speed or efficiency gain.
- Which Gemini features are genuinely exclusive to Pixel Watch 5 versus arriving on Pixel Watch 4 through the Wear OS 7 update.

- What happens to Satellite SOS access once its two-year included window runs out.
