Things You'll Need

  • Sprint Blackberry

  • Unlock code

These steps could save $20 to $30 over what cell phone providers charge for unlock codes. All phones have different unlock codes, so don't trust any else's code. In California, Sprint users can get their phones unlocked free of charge. To do this, though, you'll have to cancel your contract or let it expire.
