Adobe Illustrator uses the glyphs panel for inserting special characters and symbols such as the copyright symbol or the registered trademark symbol into documents. In Illustrator CS4, the glyphs panel was located in the "Text" menu. In Illustrator CS5, it is located in the "Window" menu. If you have difficulties inserting glyphs into a document using Illustrator CS5, verify your copy is updated to version 15.0.2 or later. Previous versions had issues inserting some glyphs. This was repaired in version 15.0.2.
