How to Insert an Image in PageMaker 7

Adobe PageMaker 7 is a desktop publishing program designed to allow for the easy creation of publications such as brochures and newsletters. The software comes with many pre-loaded customizable templates, and you can also create a blank project. The PageMaker 7 software includes hundreds of clip art images. You can also import any image from your hard drive to be used in your project with just a few clicks.

Step 1

Open the document that you would like to add an image to.

Click the "Pointer" icon, which contains an arrow image and is located on the "Tools Palette."

Click "File" at the top of the PageMaker 7 window, and then click "Place."

Step 4

Navigate to the image that you would like to insert into the document using the file browser. Select the image and then click "Open" to insert the image into the document.

Step 5

Click the image to drag it to the desired location. Use the boxes around the edge of the image to re-size the image. Once the image is the correct size and is located in the correct position, click anywhere on the page to deselect the image.
