Magnavox DVD/VCR combo units allow you to enjoy any movie in your collection, regardless of the format, on your Vizio TV. The DVD/VCR features a HDMI input to transfer the audio and video signals to your Vizio in a single cable. The HDMI interface carries both high-definition and standard definition signals so you will not have to worry about the changing the settings between VCR and DVD mode.
Step 1
Locate the "HDMI" port on the back input panel of the Vizio TV. The port looks like a thin rectangle and will have the letters "HDMI" above it.

Insert one end of the HDMI cable into the "HDMI" port on the input panel.
Step 3
Insert the other side of the cable into the "HDMI" port on the back panel of the Magnavox DVD/VCR. The port resembles the port on the Vizio TV.
Step 4
Plug the power cord from the Magnavox DVD/VCR into a nearby wall outlet. Turn on the Vizio and press the "Input" button until the image from the DVD/VCR appears on the TV screen.
