The Verizon Fios receiver box transmits the television service signal to your TV. The receiver boxes also acts as the control station for the channels, volume and on-demand features as well as a connection point for other equipment in your home theater setup. Plug your DVD player into the input panel on the rear of your Verizon Fios box to connect the two devices.

Step 1

Turn your Verizon Fios receiver box around to locate the "Input" panel and find the "Input" panel on the rear of your DVD player.

Connect one end of the component cables to the "Video OUT" and "Audio OUT" ports on the rear of the DVD player.

Plug the other end of the component cables into the "Component IN" ports on the Input panel of your Verizon Fios box.

Connect the power cord to the DVD player and turn on the player, your TV and the receiver box. The image from the DVD player will appear on the screen
