How to Convert M4a to Wav Using iTunes

By Mario Calhoun

While the M4A audio format is playable on Apple devices and programs, not all media players support the Apple file format. The iTunes program can convert M4A audio files into a AAC, MP3, AIFF, Apple Lossless or WAV format. According to the Apple site, the iTunes audio converter feature is available for both PCs and Macintosh computers. Once the M4A file is converted it can be played on older media players that support only WAV and MP3s.
