How to Delete the Google History on an iPhone

The Google search engine is featured on the iPhone both via Safari and through its Google Mobile app. Its revolutionary search features are available in mobile form for users who need to access these functions on the go. Like the original Google home page, users can clear their search history on their iPhone for privacy issues.

Safari Google History

Step 1

Open the "Settings" app by touching its icon.

Step 2

Touch the "Safari" entry in the Settings window.

Step 3

Scroll to the bottom by swiping your finger vertically along the screen.

Step 4

Touch the "Clear History" button and confirm your selection by touching "Clear History" on the prompt. Repeat for "Cookies" and "Cache" to clear saved pages and pictures.

Google App History

Step 1

Touch the "Google" app icon.

Step 2

Touch the "Settings" icon along the bottom of the screen.

Step 3

Scroll to the bottom of the screen by swiping your finger vertically along the screen. Touch the "Privacy" entry.

Step 4

Touch the "Clear History" entry to delete the Google History. Touch "Yes" on the prompt that appears to confirm your selection. Repeat for "Cookies" to clear any saved images or web sites.
