The HP Officejet 7110 is an all-in-one printer, capable of printing, copying, faxing and scanning documents. The HP Officejet 7110 is compatible with both Mac and PC computers, and it uses a USB printer cable to connect. There may be times when your printer becomes unresponsive and you will need to perform a soft reset. A soft reset, which is the same as turning off the device and then turning it back on, will reset the printer's RAM, but it will not delete settings.

Step 1

Press the "Power" button on the right-side of the control panel of the printer.

Step 2

Remove the power cable from the rear of the printer if the printer is unresponsive when the power button is pressed.

Step 3

Wait approximately 10 seconds and plug in the power cable, or press the power button to power up the printer if it was able to be turned off. Once the printer turns on, the soft reset will be complete.
