Adding photos to your Craigslist ad allows the reader to see if he is interested in your product. Photos let the reader compare the language of your advertisement to the actual item and view the quality or current condition of your item. Photos are particularly helpful if you are selling an item or offering housing on Craigslist. Craigslist users will also think of a seller as more credible if photos are included in the advertisement.

Step 1

Save the photo that you want to add to your Craigslist advertisement as a file on your computer.

Step 2

Click "Add/Edit Photos" underneath the description box in your advertisement, if you are currently creating your Craigslist ad.

If you have already published an ad, click on the link to your ad in the email Craigslist sent you to publish your ad, and then click "Edit this Posting." Once you can view your add, click "Add/Edit Photos," and then click "Choose File." Search for your saved photo, and double-click the photo to include it in your ad.

Step 3

Click "Continue" to repost your ad with the photos or to continue with the publishing process if you have not yet published your ad.
