Convert Word Documents to PDF

Additional documents, spreadsheets or multimedia items may be embedded into Microsoft Office Word documents. When these documents are converted to the Portable Document Format (PDF), the embedded objects can be retained using the Microsoft Word 2007 PDF and XPS add-in. The documents can be converted to PDF from within the Microsoft Word interface.

Step 1

Download and install the Microsoft “Save as PDF or XPS” add-in. The add-in will add the “PDF and XPS” option to the “Save As” menu in Word.
