Microsoft Word allows you to enter text into floating text boxes around which normal text wraps, making them perfect for bold quotes, tables or important information. Formatting these text boxes with Word's numerous options draws focus to the text box and sets it apart from normal text. Add shading to the text box to visually delineate the box from the document's white background.
