GLaDOS, the robotic antagonist of the "Portal" game series, speaks with a voice between robot and human. Unlike many robots, GLaDOS speaks with a voice than increases and decreases in pitch. There are several methods of turning a piece of text into a GLaDOS-style voice. The simplest method involves using an automatic GLaDOS voice generator while the more complex methods require you to download and install sound-editing computer programs.
