Microsoft Visio lets you create diagrams and representations using vector graphics. The program comes with pre-installed shapes that you can simply click and drag into your diagram without the need to know how to create graphics. Additional shapes may be downloaded for free from Microsoft including shapes representing sine waves. You can add annotations to the shapes to explain facts and figures of exactly what the shape represents.

Download the Visio Educational Shapes from microsoft.com.

Launch Microsoft Visio.

Step 3

Click "File," "Shapes," and "My Shapes."

Drag and drop the sine wave shape from the list of available shapes to your diagram.
