Having a TV in the car used to be a luxury. Nowadays they are much more common, especially with families that depend on them to keep kids from fighting in the back seat. If your car didn't come with a pre-installed TV, you can install one yourself with ease.
Bring the TV to the car carefully. Make sure you open a car door that will allow the TV to fit through.
Arrange the TV in the exact position you want in the car.
Plug the TV into the AC/car adapter or dual power inverter for the car and AC electronics.
Plug the cigarette outlet cord into the cigarette lighter outlet located in the dashboard of the car.
Turn on the car. This will allow power to flow through the AC/car adapter or dual power inverter into the TV. You can watch the TV as long as the car is on.
Things You'll Need
AC/car adapter or dual power inverter for the car/AC electronics
When searching for the right AC/car adapter cord or dual power inverter, make sure there is one chord that can fit into the car cigarette lighter and one outlet in the device for the TV chord.
Make sure the electricity voltage used in the AC/car adapter will be sufficient for the TV's required voltage. If the AC/car adapter can't handle the voltage the TV needs, your television won't work properly. Measure the size of the TV beforehand, so you know whether it can fit into your car. Find a stable place to put the TV to ensure that it won't move during travel.
