Verifying that your TV listings are up to date ensures that your DVR always records your favorite shows. Comcast's XFINITY service has a dedicated listings guide that loads program information based on your ZIP code and time zone. How you go about refreshing your listings guide varies slightly depending on whether you're viewing it on your TV or on the Web.
Onscreen TV Listings
Load your TV listings, and then click the "Change" button located at the top of the grid.
Enter your ZIP code in the provided field.
Click the "Time Zones" drop-down menu and select your time zone.
Click the "Save" button to refresh your TV listings.
Online TV Listings
Navigate to the XFINITY online listings website (link in Resources).
Click the "Change Location" link, located just above the top right corner of the grid.
Enter your ZIP code in the provided field, and then press the "Search" button.
Click your service area on the Service Area list, and then click the "Save" button to refresh your listings.
If you're attempting to refresh the onscreen listings guide and still aren't having any luck after re-entering your ZIP code and reselecting your time zone, power cycle the XFINITY cable box. Unplug the power cable on the back of the device, wait 10 seconds, and then plug it back in. Let the box reboot and acquire a signal, and then load your listings page again.
Do not attempt to refresh your listings if you're seeing "TBA" or "To Be Announced" in your guide instead of actual program names. This occurs when Comcast updates the onscreen guide. Wait a few minutes and the guide will correct itself.
