Reset Button Method

Slide the Hold switch to the Off position.

Locate the Reset button on the player. It will likely be on the back of the MP3/MP4 player, and it will most likely be no bigger than a pinhole.

Press a pin or tack into the Reset button for 7 to 10 seconds. The player will reset.

Non-Reset Button Method

Step 1

Slide the Hold switch on the player to On.

Wait two seconds and slide the Hold switch back to Off.

Step 3

Hold down the Menu and Scroll buttons located on the player for 7 to 10 seconds. The device will reset.
