Step 2

Set your mobile phone to search for Bluetooth devices. Regardless of what type of mobile phone with Bluetooth capability that you have, there will be a Bluetooth option or icon on it that allows you to search for Bluetooth devices. The phone and headset must be near each other in order to pair them.

Step 3

Select your headset for pairing when it appears on your mobile phone. Because it is an Emerson headset, it will begin with the letters "EM" on your phone.

Step 4

Enter "0000" when your mobile phone prompts you to give a pass code. All Emerson Bluetooth devices use 0000 as a pass code.

Step 5

Make sure the indicator light is flashing blue steadily. This means that the pairing between your headset and mobile phone was successful.
