How to Run Powerpoint in a Continuous Loop?

You can display a slide show presentation for a business meeting or school project using the Microsoft Office PowerPoint application. After you created all of the single slides that you want to appear in the presentation, you then can set up the slide show, including how long each slide is shown for. You also can play the slide show on a continuous loop, which is helpful for demonstrations that you want repeated. Setting up a continuous loop can be done the same way for all versions of PowerPoint.

Things You'll Need

  • Microsoft PowerPoint

Step 1

Open the Microsoft PowerPoint presentation.

Step 2

Click on the “Slide Show” menu option from the top toolbar, then click “Set Up Show."

Step 3

Click on the box next to the “Loop continuously until ‘Esc’” field to select it. Click on the “OK” button, and you will return to your PowerPoint presentation.

Step 4

Click on the “Slide Show” option again, then click on the “View Show” option. Your slide show will play on a continuous loop.

Step 5

Press the “Esc” key on your keyboard at any time to stop the slide show from playing.
