The iPhone is sold with four to 32 gigabytes of storage space. If you want to take advantage of this storage space and use the iPhone as a USB drive, you can download several third-party transfer applications on your computer that will enable this feature. In addition, these third-party applications offer a working alternative to using iTunes to transfer information to your iPhone.

Step 1

Download and install a third-party transfer application on your computer that allows you to use your iPhone as a USB drive (See Resources). iPhone Explorer, DiskAid and Xilisoft iPhone Transfer are three such applications.
