Attention old school Nintendo fanatics: Dr. Mario is officially coming to your smartphone. Nintendo announced a new mobile game called "Dr. Mario World," which will be free to download for iOS and Android users, with the option for in-app purchases.

The original "Dr. Mario" was released in 1990, and it consisted of putting colorful falling blocks in order—similar to "Tetris." In a press release, Nintendo described "Dr. Mario World" as being a puzzle game, but didn't offer any other details.
