All parents of young kids have been locked out of their iPhone or iPad. In fact, it's probably happened too many times to count. It's no big deal though—the device is usually only disabled for a few minutes.

Video of the Day

Evan Osnos, a staff writer for The New Yorker, tweeted his frustration after his three-year-old accidentally locked him out of his iPad... for 25,536,442 minutes. That's more than 48 years. iPad security it important, but that time frame seems to be a bit excessive for the situation.

Osnos wrote, "Uh, this looks fake but, alas, it's our iPad today after 3-year-old tried (repeatedly) to unlock. Ideas?"

And in typical internet fashion, people tweeted their ideas and deepest condolences. Because when a hilarious situation presents itself, you can't not tweet a response.

Since Apple will surely have a solution, it's safe to LOL at this forever.
