Chelsea Clinton is taking on the podcast world with "In Fact with Chelsea Clinton." For many years, the former first daughter has been using her Twitter platform as a way to have conversations around relevant topics happening in the world, and now she's finally going to be able to discuss important issues in more than 280 characters.
The podcast, which premieres April 13 with iHeartMedia will tackle subjects relating to politics, international relations, and public health, among many other important topics.
Queer Eye's Jonathan Van Ness, who back in 2019 announced he is HIV positive, will be Clinton's first guest, along with HIV physician and health equity advocate Dr. Oni Blackstock.
"With more attention than ever being paid to public health, we have an opportunity to expand awareness beyond COVID-19 to other real and pervasive issues that impact us all," Clinton said in a statement. "On this podcast, I'm looking forward to bringing conversations with some of the smartest and most interesting people I know to a new audience. From stigma to choice to the environment, my hope is that listeners will walk away from each episode informed, entertained, inspired, and with a better understanding of why public health matters — certainly in this moment and always."
Clinton's parents, former President Bill Clinton and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton (you know, just casual low key parents), also have their own podcasts through iHeartMedia.
