Among its many features, the iPhone has built-in Bluetooth connectivity that allows you to connect wirelessly to other compatible devices, such as your computer. Using a Bluetooth connection, you can sync your iPhone to your computer as well as synchronize your contacts, email, notes and calendar. In addition, syncing the two devices will permit you to play your iTunes music through your computer speakers. Pairing the devices is a straightforward task and takes only a few minutes.
Tap "Settings," "General" and then "Bluetooth" on the iPhone.

Slide the "Off" switch to the "On" position. This enables Bluetooth on your iPhone and places the device in discoverable mode. Put the phone down and go on to the next step.
Click the "Start" button on your computer and select "Control Panel." Click "Add a Device," under the "Hardware and Sound" option. The "Add a Device" window will open and the computer will search for any Bluetooth devices in range. After a few moments, your iPhone will appear on the menu.
Locate your iPhone on the menu and click "Next." A new window will open with a pairing number. A new window will also open on your iPhone with the same pairing number.
Tap "Pair" on the iPhone to pair the two devices. A message will appear on your computer screen confirming, "This device has been successfully added to this computer."Click "Close."
If the computer does not recognize your iPhone, try moving the phone closer to the computer to ensure that it is within Bluetooth range.
