With Microsoft PowerPoint, you can create a complete self-running presentation and set it to auto play by double-clicking on the presentation file. This allows you to send a presentation via email or a CD and know that regardless of the recipient's technical proficiency, he will be able to see your presentation. PowerPoint self-running presentations include a copy of Microsoft PowerPoint viewer, so the presentation will play on a computer whether it has PowerPoint is installed or not.
Open the PowerPoint presentation that you want to auto play in Microsoft PowerPoint.
Select the "Slide Show" tab at the top of the screen and click "Set Up Slide Show." Select "Browsed At A Kiosk (Full Screen)" under "Show Type." Click "OK."
Click "Rehearse Timings" in the "Slideshow" tab.
Pause for as long as you want the current slide to be displayed during the presentation, then click the right arrow to advance to the next slide in your presentation. Repeat this step until you've moved through your entire presentation.
Select "Package Presentation for CD" from the "Save & Send" section of the "File" menu. Click "Package for CD."
Click "Copy to Folder." Browser for a location on your computer and enter a name for the presentation. Click "OK."
Double-click on the file to auto play the presentation in full-screen mode.
Attach the presentation file that you've created to an email or burn it to a disc to send it to others.
