RCA televisions use an on-screen display that allows the user to access information in the television's menu, such as picture adjustments, channel selections and the language that the menu is displayed. If you speak English and the television's information is done in another language that you don't understand, it will be difficult to navigate the television menu. To get the set to display the menu information in English is as easy as accessing the menu itself.
Step 1
Press the "Menu" button on the remote control. This will access the main menu.

Select the "Set-up" option on the main menu. This will be the third selection down if you can't understand the foreign word for "Set-up".
Step 3
Press the "Enter" button on the remote control. The first selection on the set-up menu is OSD or On Screen Display language.
Step 4
Select the "English" option on the "OSD Language" menu by using the arrows on the remote control. Highlight the English option and press the "Enter" button. The menu will now be displayed in English.
