Check the metadata of an MP4 video file by opening its "Properties" section. The file's metadata gives you information on the MP4 video file. It shows you the data rate, the authors of the video and much more. Looking at the metadata helps you determine every piece of information that you want to know about a file.


Step 1

Launch Windows Explorer and navigate to the MP4 file.
