OFX is known as the Open Financial Exchange format.

Your bank or credit card statements may only be available online in the PDF format. Fortunately, you can convert your PDF statements to the OFX, or Open Financial Exchange, format to use with some money management programs. The OFX format works with Microsoft Money, Mint.com, Sage Accounting, GnuCash and Apple Numbers. To convert a PDF to OFX, you must first convert your PDF to a tab-delimited file. The tab-delimited, or TDF, file is then converted to a comma-separated values, or CSV, file and then the CSV file is converted to the OFX file format.
