How to Convert Onenote Images to JPEG

Microsoft Office OneNote is a set of software programs for the gathering of free-form information and for multi-user integration. A OneNote file has the "*.one" file extensionJPEG (Joint Photographic Experts Group's standard) is a standard method of lossy compression for photographic images files. The file extension "*.jpg" is a common image format, as are such formats as Bitmap and GIF.To convert a Onenote image file into a JPEG image, you need a conversion program. Many of these are available as free trial downloads online.

Things You'll Need

  • Microsoft Onenote file (*.one)
  • Conversion program

Conversion with "Image Convert"

Step 1

Download and install "Image Convert."

Step 2

Run the program on the desktop. Click the "Add Image(s)" button at the top-left of the main window. Select one or more OneNote (*.one) image files to convert. Click "Add."

Step 3

Select "JPEG" in the "Convert Images to?" field. Click the "Browse" button. Select a target location for the converted JPEG file. Click "OK."

Step 4

Click the "Convert" button to begin the conversion process.

Conversion with "Picture Converter"

Step 1

Download and install "Picture Converter."

Step 2

Run the program on the desktop. Click the "Source Files" tab at the top of the main window. Click the "Add Files..." button. Select a OneNote image file for conversion. Click "Add."

Step 3

Click the "Next" button. Click "Browse" in the "Destination" tab. Select a target destination for the converted file. Select "JPEG (*.jpg)" from the "File Type:" menu.

Step 4

Click the "Next" button again. Click the "Convert" button to begin the conversion process.
