How to Delete Match Mobile Accounts

Learn how to use the Web browser on your mobile device to delete your account and profile.

Use the Web browser on your mobile device to delete your Match account. Removing the account deletes all user data and ends any subscriptions you have in place, so proceed with caution.

Delete in Mobile Browser

Step 1

Visit the Match website in the Web browser on your mobile device and tap Already a Member to be redirected to the mobile Match login page.

Step 2

Log in to your account.

Log in using the Match account you want to delete.


If you can't remember the email or password associated with the Match account you want to delete, tap Forgot Email or Forgot Password, respectively, and follow the prompts to recover them.

Step 3

Select Settings & Help.

Tap the three-line Menu icon in the top corner of the screen and select Settings & Help.

Step 4

Open the Web version of the full Match site.

Touch Go to Full Site to open the Web version of the full Match website.

Step 5

Choose Account Settings.

Select Account Settings.

Step 6

Tap Change/Cancel Membership.

Tap Change/Cancel Membership.

Step 7

Enter your password.

Enter your account password in the provided field and then tap the Continue Cancellation button.

Step 8

Confirm you want to delete the account.

Tap Cancel Membership and Remove Profile link to finish deleting your Match account.


A confirmation message appears on your screen and an email is sent to the address associated with your account confirming the deletion of your Match profile.

Delete in Desktop Browser

Changes you make while accessing on your computer's Web browser also apply to your account on your mobile device. As a result, deleting your account via your desktop Web browser means it's deleted on your smartphone or tablet as well.

To delete your Match account, log in to the Match website and proceed through the above steps for mobile devices starting with Step 5.
