In the world of online dating, a picture can say a lot more than a thousand words. So it's important that you can get the right photo up when you want it!

OkCupid's system for editing your photos is pretty quick and easy. With these steps you will be able to add or change photos, as well as edit captions, rearrange the order the photos appear in, or delete photos you don't want to use anymore.

First, let's take a look at how to edit your photos using the OkCupid Dating App.

Editing OkCupid Photos From Your Phone:

  1. Open up the OkCupid Dating App on your mobile device.
  2. Tap the Toolbar in the top left hand corner of the screen.
  3. Tap on your current photo. At this point you will see the option to either "Edit" or "Add Photos." In the Edit section you will be able to rearrange, delete, and add captions to your photos. In the Add Photos section you will be able to add additional photos to your account. Follow the instructions below that apply to what you'd like to accomplish with your photos! They all pick up from this point.

To Add Photos:

  1. Click "Add Photos" and select the the option to either take a photo from your phone's camera or select a photo from your existing library.

To Rearrange the Order of Photos:

  1. Click "Edit" Photos.
  2. Tap and hold down the Toolbar (the three horizontal lines) next to a photo that you would like to move. Keep pressure on it while you move the photo up and down among the photos in your OkCupid library.

To Edit a Photo's Caption:

  1. Click "Edit" Photos.
  2. Simply tap on the photo you would like to provide a caption for and a box. A box will appear that reads "What is this photo all about?" Type whatever you would like as a caption!

To Delete a Photo:

  1. Click "Edit" Photos.
  2. Once you're in your photo gallery, click "Edit" in the top right hand corner. Little dashes will appear next to each photo in your gallery.
  3. Click the dash symbol on the photo you would like to delete.
  4. Press the "Delete" button that appears in red to confirm your decision.

Editing OKCupid Photos From Your Computer:

  1. Launch OkCupid and login to your account.
  2. Click on your profile icon, at the very top right of the page.
  3. Select "Profile" from the dropdown list.
  4. Directly under your profile photo, select the tab "Photos."
  5. Select "Profile Photos" from the "Albums" section. From here you will be able to to rearrange, delete, and add captions to your photos, as well as add new photos. Follow the instructions below that apply to what you'd like to accomplish with your photos! They all pick up from this point.

To Add Photos:

  1. Click the "Upload a photo" button. From here, you will be able to select a photo from your computer. You will also have the option to add photos from your Facebook or Instagram once you link those accounts to OkCupid.

To Rearrange the Order of Photos:

  1. Beneath the "Upload a photo" button, you will find a list of your current profile photos.
  2. Hold your mouse over and click the Toolbar (the three horizontal lines) next to the photo whose position you would like to change in your photo order. Drag it up or down to change its position.

To Edit a Photo's Caption:

  1. Click on "Add a Caption" under the photo whose caption you would like to change.
  2. A box will appear where you can write your desired caption.
  3. Press Save!

To Delete a Photo:

  1. Beneath the "Upload a photo" button, you will find a list of your current profile photos.
  2. Click "Delete" next to the photo you would like deleted.
  3. Confirm that you would like to "Delete."

And that's it! Using either your mobile phone or your computer, you can edit your photos on OkCupid and find a match!
