If you include a lot of videos in Facebook Wall posts, a video you want to see again can quickly get lost in the updates. Facebook gives you the option to scroll down on your page and click the "Older Posts" link at the very bottom, but this gets tedious if there is a lot of data to go through. Fortunately, you have the option to use a third-party application, accessible directly in your Facebook account. Find the old video Wall posts you want using the application of your choice.
Log into your Facebook account and type "post archive" in the search field at the top of the page. Click the "See more results for post archive" link that displays in the drop-down list and then click the "Apps" link on the left.
Look at the applications in the list that appears to see which one you want to use. Applications including Archivedbook and getMYLIFEback! both allow you to search old video posts. Click the "View App" button next to the title you prefer.
Click the "Add to My Page" link on the left side of the page and follow the instructions to install your application. The application menu page automatically opens at the end of this process.
Use the tools that display to find your old video wall post. With Archivedbook, for example, click the "Start browsing your Facebook history" link and click the "Videos" link in the menu bar. A list of your old media appears.
If you do not see an old video Wall post that you are looking for, it means that Facebook no longer has this history available.
You have the option to download all of your own Facebook profile information, which includes past video posts, to your computer. Click the "Account Settings" link under the "Account" menu at the top, click the "Download a copy" link that appears and follow the prompts to get your data.
