Many televisions have a dedicated "Input" button on the remote control or television to change the video source, such as when you want to watch a DVD or play a video game. Some Philips TV models do not have an "Input" button. Depending on your television model, you need to use a different dedicated button or access the menu system to change the input. The procedure differs, depending on whether you are using the TV's remote control or the control buttons on the television.
Look for a button labeled "Source" on your remote control, and press it to change the input on your television. Not all Philips TV remotes have a "Source" button.
Locate the "Home" button, which has a house on it, on your remote control and press it. A list of your available television inputs appears on the screen.
Press the down navigation button to highlight the input you want to use, and press the "OK" button, located in the middle of the navigation buttons.
Look for the "Source" button among the control panel buttons on the right side of the television, and press it to switch the input. You will not find a "Source" button on all Philips televisions.
Press the "Home" button, which, like the remote control, has a picture of a house on it. The Home button is found on the right side of the television or just below the screen.
Push the "CH +" or "CH -" buttons to highlight the input you want to use and then the "Home" button a second time to select the input.
Select "Watch TV" from the menu when you want to return to the antenna, cable or satellite input.
