Skype is a communication program that allows you to send and receive instant messages, conduct video and voice calls, and transfer files between peers. While instant messaging with this program, you can insert small graphics, called smileys, into your conversations. These images portray different emotions or actions, such as happy, sad, angry, confused and applause. Skype provides many pre-installed smileys with its software. However, you can also install new smileys from the Internet.
