How to Repair a Kindle's Cracked Screen

The Kindle is Amazon's E-Book reader that can store many different books. This comes in handy if you travel a lot and want to read while on the go, but a damaged Kindle screen will render the unit useless. The good news is that you can open up your Kindle and replace the screen.

Insert the tip of your case opener tool in the seam where the back panel of the unit meets the front of the Kindle. Work your way around the unit's back panel until it comes off. Set it aside.
