How to Reset a Pandora List

When you listen to a Pandora Internet radio station, the site uses an algorithm to find music similar to the artist or song that you initially used to create the station. To further customize the station, you can seed it with additional artists or songs and use the thumbs up/thumbs down system to change the types of music played. To reset a station to its original state, you must remove the preferences you've previously set for it.

Video of the Day

Pandora allows you to stream music at up to 192kbps.
Your custom stations appear on the left column of the Pandora interface.

Select the Pandora radio station you wish to reset.

Clicking "Options" opens a flyout menu.

Click "Options" beneath the name of the station and select "Station Details."

You can create up to 100 personalized Pandora stations.

Click the "X" beside each station seed, aside from the original seed, to remove it.

A thumbed-down song will never play again on a customized station.

Expand the lists of thumbed-up and thumbed-down tracks. Click "X" beside each track to remove it from your preferences.
