Graphics Interchange Format (GIF) files are a powerful and easy way to share short animations or sets of images across the Internet. GIF files were incredibly popular in the early days of the Internet design when Internet video and Flash weren't available to provide motion to an otherwise static Web page. Editing GIFs can be easy with the right software, such as Adobe Photoshop. This process should be easy for anyone moderately experienced with the basics of Photoshop, such as opening and saving files, etc.
Find the GIF file on your computer and open it in Photoshop.
Open the Animation Palette menu and select the "Document Settings" box.
Video of the Day
Change the animation duration or frame rate in the "Document Settings" dialog. To speed up the GIF animation, either select a higher frame rate or a shorter animation duration.
Select "Export" to export your faster GIF file.
