The Timex T025B is a battery-operated alarm clock with indiglo night light. It has a modern, ball-shaped design and a large LCD display that is easy to read from a distance. The Timex T025B runs on three "AAA" batteries and features a convenient set it and forget it program, with auto repeat and auto shutoff settings. Setting up the indiglo alarm clock takes a matter of minutes, and using it is relatively simple.

Setting the Time and Alarm

Step 1

Turn the alarm clock over to access the battery compartment. Press the locking tab, at the top of the battery compartment door, down. Lift and remove the door. Install three AAA batteries according to the polarity guide inside the battery compartment. Replace the battery door and press down until it snaps into place. The clock will beep four times, then flash "12:00 AM."

Step 2

Press and hold the "Set" button on the top of the alarm clock for two to three seconds. The time display will start flashing.

Step 3

Press the "+" and "-" buttons to adjust the time forward or backward. Hold either button down to move quickly through the numbers. When you are close to the current time, release the button and press it repeatedly to slowly advance the numbers until you arrive at the correct hour and minute.

Step 4

Pay careful attention to the AM/PM designation on your clock as you scroll through the numbers. An illuminated "PM" in the upper left corner of the display indicates PM, and absence of the "PM" indicates AM.

Release the button and wait five seconds for the time to be saved. You will return to display mode.

Press and hold the "+" or "-" button to begin rapidly moving through the alarm time. When you are close to the desired alarm time, release the button and press it repeatedly to slowly advance the numbers until you arrive at the correct hour and minute.

Step 7

Pay careful attention to the AM/PM alarm indicator on your clock, located in the lower, left-hand corner of the display. Release the button and wait five seconds for the alarm time to be saved.

Activating the Alarm and Snooze

Step 1

Press and hold the "Set" button for two to three seconds, or until the time begins flashing. Press the "Set" button two more times. The "Off" indicator will begin flashing in the display, indicating the alarm is currently deactivated.

Press the "+" or "-" button once to on turn the alarm. The word "On" will begin flashing in the display. After five seconds, you will return to the display screen with the current time and alarm time. The "Alarm On" indicator will be illuminated at the top of the screen, indicating the alarm is activated.

Step 3

Repeat Steps 1 and 2 to deactivate the alarm.

Step 4

Press the "Snooze/Backlight" button once to activate the snooze. The snooze indicator will begin flashing on the display, and the alarm will sound again in five minutes.

Adjusting the Backlight and Snooze

Step 1

Press the triangle-shaped "Snooze/Backlight" button on the top of the alarm clock to turn the backlight on for five seconds.

Step 2

Press the "Backlight" button repeatedly to navigate through the seven backlight colors. Release the button once you reach the desired color. The chosen color will illuminate for five seconds each time you press the button.

Step 3

Press and hold the "Backlight" button if you want the color-changing backlight to remain "On." Release the button once the display begins cycling through the seven backlight colors. Press the "Backlight" button once to stop the continuous backlight.

Press and hold the "Set" button to adjust the length of the snooze. Release the button once the time begins to flash, then press the button three more times. The snooze indicator and default length of five minutes will begin flashing in the display.

Step 5

Press the "+" or "-" button to adjust the length of snooze up or down. Choose from one to 60 minutes in between alarm sounds. Press the "Set" button, or wait five seconds to return to the display screen and save your snooze length.
