The N2QAYB000100 model number represents the universal remote control packaged with certain Panasonic LCD and plasma high-definition televisions (HDTVs). Programming the remote can be less tedious if you have a copy of the user guide that came packaged with the television because the codes for many popular electronic devices, such as cable boxes, are listed. If you don't have a copy or your device isn't listed, the remote still can be programmed through a circuitous route.

Step 3

Press the button that corresponds to the device (DVD, VCR, etc.) you want programmed into the remote.

Step 4

Find the code number for the device in your TV's user manual. If you don't have a copy, a list of device codes can be seen and downloaded at Panasonic's website. Enter the first four-digit code into your remote and press "Power." If the device turns on, it is programmed. If not, repeat the process and skip to the next code for your device and press "Power." If it still doesn't turn on, move on to Step 5.

Step 5

Repeat Steps 2 and 3, press the right arrow button, then press "Power." If the device turns on, press "OK" to save the code and program your remote. If it doesn't turn on, keep pressing the right arrow button and "Power" until it works. This could take a few attempts before your remote is programmed.
