Home security isn't something to mess around with. At CES 2019 in Las Vegas this week, Hanwha Techwin announced its new 4K Super HD Video Security Systems, and they're worth the consideration for your home security setup.

The system comes with either eight or 16 cameras for complete coverage of your home, and the video resolution is four times clearer than 1080p—which means you'll actually be able to see the footage clearly. And the cameras are weather resistant, so they're ideal for both indoor and outdoor environments.

Video of the Day

Something unique to this security system is the included DVR that allows up to either 8-Channel or 16-Channel recordings. Each camera can be set to record continuously, or you can customize them to record based on motion activation or scheduled times. You can receive alerts when there's motion, video loss, or tampering with the cameras.

The cameras feature 3840p resolution, 104-degree wide-angle views, motion zone selection and event detection, privacy zone, and digital noise reduction. And to make th system extra smart, it also features Google Assistant and Chromecast compatibility, which allows you to access footage through voice commands.

Since the new system was just announced, the pricing and release date are yet to be determined.
