Instagram is working on making it easier to donate money to nonprofit organizations. The social media platform is currently testing a donation sticker for Stories.
The fundraiser feature lets users search for a nonprofit to add to their Story, and from there, viewers of the Story can click on the sticker to donate whatever amount they choose.
The new feature was spotted by app researcher Jane Manchun Wong, and Instagram confirmed it in a statement.
"We are in early stages and working hard to bring this experience to our community," the company said. "Instagram is all about bringing you closer to the people and things you love, and a big part of that is showing support for and bringing awareness to meaningful communities and causes."

Adding, "Later this year, people will be able to raise money and help support nonprofits that are important to them through a donation sticker in Instagram Stories. We're excited to bring this experience to our community and will share more updates in the coming months."
When features are tested on Instagram, they aren't guaranteed, but it sounds like the company is pretty sure this one will come to fruition.
