Turn closed captioning on and off on your LG LED TV using your remote control.

Almost all TVs, including your LG LED TV, come equipped with a closed-captioning feature that you access through on-screen menus and your remote control. Most TV programs are required by the Federal Communications Commission to provide closed captioning for the deaf and hard-of-hearing. The captions are also helpful for people learning English as they can see the words while simultaneously hearing them spoken.
