You remember Shazam, right? The app that identifies songs based on the sound it picks up. So, when you hear a song but can't think of its name, pull up the app, tap Shazam, and... Shazam! The song title appears.
Apple bought the app back in 2017, and the company is finally able to doing something about it. In the latest developer beta of iOS 14.2, Shazam has been added to the control center, as first noted by MacRumors.
To access the control center, swipe down from the top right of your iPhone's display, or if you have an older phone, you can get there by swiping up.
The new feature makes it easier to identify a song without putting in too much effort. It works with songs playing out loud, through your iOS device, an even through your AirPods.
