To ensure that you are not running out of minutes or racking up extra overage charges, it is important to know how to check the minutes used on any cell phone. Verizon makes it very easy for customers to check their account and keep up to date on their balance.
Step 1
Using your computer, go to the official Verizon Wireless website and login. Navigate to the "My Verizon Wireless" page. Select your phone line and your minutes usage data will appear in the center of the screen.

Using your cell phone, dial #MIN and hit "Send." Listen to the recording and open the text message that is automatically sent. This text message will contain all of your account information, including your minutes usage.
Step 3
If your cell phone has a Web browser, click the main menu and select "My Verizon." Wait for your account information to load. Scroll down to the middle of the page and locate your minutes usage.
