Like an answering machine, voicemail on a phone receives and stores messages from missed calls. With the ability to check voicemail from your own phone comes also the ability for other people to check your voicemail with only your wireless number and your pass code. Accessing someone else's voicemail can be done with just these two numbers and any phone, cellular or landline.
