How to Change the Display Name in Outlook

Outlook is Microsoft’s flagship email, contact management and calendar application and, with few exceptions, comes standard on most versions of the company’s Office suite. After installing Outlook on their computers, many users wish to customize the settings that determine how their contact information appears in outgoing messages. One of the best places to start this process is by customizing the display name—the name recipients will see in the “From” line of any messages sent from Outlook. The steps you’ll need to follow to change your display name will vary somewhat depending on which version of Outlook you’re using.
