Locating your Yahoo! search history is a relatively easy task.

In order to find your Yahoo! search history, you have to go back to where you initially conducted your Yahoo! search. To find your Yahoo! search history through your Web browser, you have to be logged onto the same computer and use the same user account you were using when you initially conducted your Yahoo! search. You may also be able to find your Yahoo! search history by using a feature on Yahoo! call the "Search Pad."

Step 1

Open your browser. Type "Ctrl" plus "H" to open your browser's history list. The history list is a record of all the Web pages visited on your browser. As long as your browser's history hasn't been deliberately cleared, you should be able to find your Yahoo! search history through the history list.

Click on the arrow located next to the "View" or "History" button. Whether the button is labeled "View" or "History" depends upon which browser you're using. Select "By Site" from the drop down menu.

Click on the entry with a "yahoo.com" domain name to open a list of all the Web pages visited on Yahoo!, including your Yahoo! search engine results pages. To revisit any of these pages simply click on the page link.

Yahoo! Search Pad

Step 1

Use the Yahoo! Search Pad to revisit your Yahoo! search history. When your Yahoo! preferences are set to have the Search Pad turned on, Yahoo! will "take notes while you are searching." The Search Pad is turned on by default. To access the Search Pad, go to the Yahoo! home page. If the search history you want to find was conducted while you were signed in to your Yahoo! account, log in to your Yahoo! account. Type a random query in the search field and hit the "Enter" key.

Click the "View Notes" link located at the top of the left menu panel. This will open the Yahoo! Search Pad. The Yahoo! Search Pad lists all the websites you've visited via clicking on an entry on a Yahoo! search results page. To revisit any of these Web pages, simply click on the page link.

Step 3

Click "Searches" in the Yahoo! Search Pad menu to review a list of your recent Yahoo! search query entries. This will open a drop down menu that lists all of your recent Yahoo! search engine queries. Clicking on a particular entry will bring up that query's results page. To open the query results page in new a window, right-click on the entry and select "Open in a new window" from the shortcut menu.
