Many cellphone users do not want to sign a contract with a service provider that locks them into monthly plan for a year or two, but want the guaranteed coverage a major provider like Verizon offers. For these customers, Verizon Wireless offers a prepaid service. If you sign-up for a prepaid plan, you need to pay every month to keep the plan current and active. Verizon offers several methods for you to make payments.
Go to a Verizon Wireless Store, retailer or agent and make a payment in person. Some Verizon stores also have kiosks you can use to make payments without waiting for a customer service representative.
Visit verizonwireless.com/myverizon, sign in to your account and make a payment with a credit or debit card. If you do not have an account, you can get one by entering your telephone number.
Dial *611 on your phone and make a payment by following the directions of the automated phone service. You can check your balance, pay a partial amount or make a full payment.
Send a text message to 89729 with your refill PIN number, the four-digit password number you made when originally opening an account with Verizon.
You can also sign up for Auto Pay to have payments automatically deducted from your credit or debit card.
