Your TracFone gives you the ability to communicate with your contacts in one of four ways. You can make phone calls, send text messages, send emails or send instant messages. According to TracFone, "conversations" refers to active IM conversations you have had with your contacts. These conversations only store for a certain period in your cell phone. As long as you don't turn the phone off, you can recover a conversation on your TracFone if you need to view it again.
Press the "Menu" key on your cell phone. Navigate to your "Contact list." Select "IM" from the list of options.
Select "Online Conversations" from the home screen.
Press the "Menu" key again. Use the navigational buttons to view a particular conversation. Press the "Menu" key to select it and recover your conversation.
Turning off your cell phone erases your conversations.
